Menus
When creating a menu for your center you must follow these meal patterns. The potions are based on the age of the children being served.

Breakfast
Breakfasts in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) include milk, vegetables and/or fruits, and grains. You can also serve meats and/or meat alternates instead of grains at breakfast up to 3 times per week. This option gives you more choices for menu planning. During Breakfast 3 of 5 compontents must be served.
Lunch or Dinner
The CACFP lunch and dinner meal patterns requires all five food components to be offered: milk, meat/meat alternates, vegetables, fruits, and grains.
Snack
Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) requires that 2 of the 5 components be served for snack. Include milk, vegetables and/or fruits, and grains.
